The more information you can give us the better, as it will help us to assess how severe it is and assist us when we visit the area to try and find the leak.
We aim to attend and fix leaks that are reported to us within 48 hours. This is where the leak is straightforward to repair and does not require us to obtain any permission to undertake the work, such as permission to put traffic management in place. So sometimes you may see a leak running for longer and whilst we understand this can be frustrating, please be assured that we take our responsibility for repairing leaks seriously and thank people for taking the time to report them to us.
